Landscape Designer
LarsenJames has teamed up with a civil engineering firm in Phoenix in search of a Landscape Designer. This company has been in business over 40 years. Responsibilities include:
- coordinating project progress with clients
- liaison with governmental agencies
- assist in preliminary studies of landscape design and landscape construction documents (planting plans, irrigation design, detail development and specifications)

- 4-7 years of recent experience in Landscape Design
- Experience with plant horticulture local to Arizona

Irrigation Designer
LarsenJames has teamed up with a civil engineering firm in Phoenix in search of an Irrigation Designer. This company has been in business over 40 years. Responsibilities include:
- Primary responsibility would be to assist in the preliminary studies of irrigation demand studies and irrigation construction documents. These documents include mainline and spray head layout, pump station design, and irrigation detail specifications involving mainly master planned community projects.
- Monitor man hour budgets for specific tasks within a project.
- Will also coordinate with team members and other disciplines (planning, land development, water resources, and survey).
Requirements
- Ideal candidate has at least (2+) years of experience in irrigation systems design.
- Ideal candidate has knowledge of local codes, standards, and procedures or local jurisdictions in local areas.
- AutoCAD experience is a must. This group utilizes a combination of AutoCAD 2005 and Microstation (they will train in Microstation).
- Residential and/or Commercial experience is applicable.
- Knowledge of Watermark Irrigation Software would be a huge plus.

Mechanical Designer - HVAC, Plumbing, Mechcanical Systems
LarsenJames is looking for a Mechanical Designer with experience in designing HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems for the commercial construction industry. This is a permanent position in the Phoenix metro area. Our client is a comprehensive design and consulting company specializing in commercial remodels.
Job Description:
The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for assigned projects, ensuring quality expectations are met and projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes researching of projects and performing/coordinating of CAD efforts. Projects size starts at around 2,000 sq. ft on up and includes office condos, factories, medical offices, etc. These are quick turn projects with short deadlines.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position applicants must have a minimum of 3 -5 years of recent experience in mechanical system design for commercial projects. Must also have at lest 2 years recent experience creating CAD drawings in an engineering environment.

DRAFTING
Architectural
We currently have multiple openings for Drafters with experience in residential construction. These are permanent positions in the North Phoenix area. Drafters would be using AutoCAD and ADT to create costruction drawings for use in the field.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience (recent) in drafting with AutoCAD and have experience with drawings related to the residential construction industry, foundations, floor plans, etc. Must also be able to read blue prints. Staring salary is $35,000 - 40,000. Local candidates only.

Project Engineer - Construction
LarsenJames is looking for a Project Engineer with commercial experience for a permanent position in the Phoenix metro area. Our client is a general contractor that has been in business for 15 years and is dedicated to quality commercial construction projects.
The Project Engineer will be working with a Project Manager on ground up commercial projects. Project Coordination, Commercial Construction
LarsenJames is looking for a Project Coordinator for a permanent position in the Phoenix area. This company provides owner representation on commercial design projects in the form of construction management. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting documentation including invoicing and insurance requirements for stored materials. Proper execution and certification by Contractor and Architect.
- Coordination, Communication and Follow up with "Dry Utilities" companies. Providing plans, and information for utility companies use and design.
- Following up on development agreements and service agreements.
- Tracking design, schedule for construction, and following up on applications for service. Processing of billings and reimbursable expenses.
- Determining that invoicing is in accordance with the Contract. Follow up on affidavits of payments to third tier consultants and/or vendors.
- Track professional liability and general liability insurance certificates. Track contractual paid to date and progress payments to consultants.
- Reviewing invoicing for accuracy and compliance with agreements. Cursory review of test results for the purpose of "flagging" non-conforming work which needs to be reviewed further by project principle.
- Solicit and process RFPs for testing and geotechnical services for client's projects.
To be considered for this position applicants must have:
- 1 + experience with commercial construction in a document control or project coordinator capacity
- Experience with MS Word Excel, including spreadsheets and formulas

Construction Superintendent - Tenant Improvement
LarsenJames is looking for a Construction Superintendent with commercial Tenant Improvement experience for a permanent position in the Phoenix, AZ area with an established General Contractor company.
The Superintendent will be responsible for the on-site supervision of day-to-day construction activities including: quality control, material delivery, subcontractor schedules, daily reports, safety meetings, detailing, project closeouts and project meetings for owners, architects and subcontractors.
